What should Chennai homeowners choose?

For typical urban residential construction, PPC is often considered where long-term durability, lower heat and good workability are valuable. For strongly chloride- or sulphate-exposed coastal conditions, PSC can offer durability advantages. OPC remains useful where the engineer requires faster early strength.

Best practice: let the structural engineer and approved concrete mix determine cementitious materials for RCC. Masonry mortar and plaster may have separate requirements.

Corrosion protection is a system.
